Today's Try a New Technique Challenge is FABULOUS! I love making 3x3 cards. They are quick, easy and always handy! Well, today's challenge offers the "whole enchilada." (Hm. I'm getting hungry.) Beth encourages us to create not only some notes but a sweet little box to accompany those notes. Thanks, Beth!
I am not a "tracer." I am a "measurer." Yep! I'm pretty sure those are real words. he. So, instead of printing the pattern for the box onto my computer and tracing it (my computer doesn't have the capacity to print right onto CS,) I came up with some measurements for the box...
begin with a 6 x 9.1/2" piece of CS...
with the 9" side to the cutters top edge, score at 3, 4, 7, and 8"...
turn CS and score 1/2 IN and then again at 1.1/2 IN on BOTH SIDES.
Trim away the outer corners and there is your box. I found that mine is just a bit too small for my envies so I am planning to play with the pattern later.
I kept this set very simple as I plan on using it in one of my workshops tonight. Oh, I see many options!

Where were you when I needed you this morning. I could not get my box to work. I too am a measurer. This is a great idea for a workshop. The stampers will love it. Nice job. TFS
