Lots of requests for details on how the background was done, so here it is! I started out with a piece of US white, and I stamped my French Script on in classic Old Olive. Then I stamped By Definition over top of it in Versamark and heat embossed with clear ep. Then I painted the entire background with two colors of twinkling H2Os(Blue Ice and Periwinkle). Very simple and easy to do, just time-consuming.

Oh, my! I would never have thought to use my two favorite backgrounds superimposed like this -- or at all, for that matter. This is gorgeous. I think I know how you did it, but I'd love an explanation, too.

I'm always thrilled when the Watercolor Queen (as I think of you, anyway) posts her latest creation. What a wonderful combination of watercolor and resist techniques. Yours designs always captivate and inspire me.
Thanks so much for this eye candy - and for sharing your instructions. I love this!
