Oh, wow Beth, the Monday techniques challenges just keep getting better and better! Thanks to Jenn for a very easy tutorial! And speaking of challenges and tutorials...here's my plug for SCS...and a link to the first card I uploaded just 9 months ago...I was relatively new to papercrafting...getting ready to go on a BGF trip to Hawaii...I posted a card I was sending to my dear friend in advance of our trip...I think you will be able to see how much I have learned from our online artist community! Almost there by One4Joy at Splitcoaststampers
My double bag base is one of the great textured unknowns in my stash. I stamped the front with SU's cheesecloth in sea foam ink. I cut the marvelous shells from K&CO embossed paper. I lay them on top of a very funky net fiber I had in my ribbon box. The Memories and Beach Cottage are stickers. The ticket is from a set of unmounteds by Invoke Arts. It is inked in TI di walnut stain and embossed in clear. The 4U is from a cute set of wooden stamps my youngest son has. I used aqua twill tape for the handles, having cut circles to attach.
I'm going to fill this with pictures of other girlfriend trips we have taken as we'll meet up at the coast in July. Time for papercrafting and watching the waves roll in as our waters are not warm enough to tip our toes...but we'll hear the roar and smell the salt air and watch awesome sunsets and take a rest from DH's and DS's for a while...just a while! Thanks for sticking with me on this one!!!!

Such an evolution, my friend! Thanks for calling us to remember what our creations were like when we first began our journey. This is a fabulous bag to be filled with treasured moments and memories. Hooray!
