RE: cjsmom0802's question (can't PM during site work...) I funneled some of the gamsol-type liquid into a bingo marker that I had cleaned thoroughly. While the marker's sponge top is still stained, liquids come out clear.

Using a 'clean' bingo marker was recommended by Debbie Gimbel, the gal who developed the Magic Color Pencil technique at http://www.gingerstamp.com/pencils/ She gives 7 pages of very helpful information at this site.
Closing the marker whenever you're not using it to dampen the tip of a stump helps keep the odorless--but dangerous--fumes from building up in your work area; hopefully preventing any brain damage. Other good ideas are ventillating the room and/or leaving the work area occasionally. HTH, Joyce

This card is so beautiful. I am just behind the times I guess, can you tell me how this was done. I understand the watercolor pencils but what is this "Grumbacher Odorless Paint Thinner (in rinsed out bingo marker), asstd. paper stumps". Please help me understand and perhaps learn a new technique.
