I made 2 of these cards for my mom and MIL for Mother's Day next week.
Edited to add at your request
The butterfly is from a retired SU! set called Wonderful Wings. I stamped it in black, cut it out and then sponged on purely pomegranate ink and then burgundy ink towards the outside wings and attached it with glue dots right under the body (the wings are free). I followed the directions for TLC166. This is a double-open card. (See my subsequent pics.
The border punch is from the Martha Stewart line at Michael's Craft Store, and the dp is by Elizabeth's. I added stickles to the roses and butterfly. Sponged around the outside edges of card. Thanks for looking!

That diagonal fold is so cool! And I love the monochromatic shading on the butterfly -- I always think I have to go multicolored on stamped butterflies but this looks very natural and simple. Thanks for sharing!
What a lovely card!!! You colored the butterfly so beautifully - he's gorgeous as are the colors and the glitter!! BTW, thank you for adding the deets and thanks for sharing!!
