In honor of National Scrapbooking Day, we were to make a card inpired by our favorite scrapbook page. I went online to find a page, but I just could not find one that really inspired me to make a card, so I went into my own gallery where I have a scrapbooking album and found one. The page I based my card on is here: MB SB Andrew by MrsBoz at Splitcoaststampers The page is showing my DGS when he was 3 and on their local swim team.
On the scrapbook page, I used Crystal Effects to create the 'bubbles'. On the card, I embellished with dew drops. The main image on the card is an acetate and tissue technique that I had already done many months ago which I considered to be a failure because it came out too light. I used a sponge and Soft Sky re-inker to darken it up a bit - great save, huh! The sentiment is popped up. I used wavy scissors instead of the zig-zag, too.

Great BG technique for your image and theme, mrs. boz! I also like how you cut out the sentiment and framed the card with the wavy strips. CA UTE!!!!
