OMGosh the stampin' Gods were NOT with me today. This is for today's COLOR CHALLENGE - Basic Guava Blossom and Monday's TECHNIUQE LOVERS CHALLENGE - Double Pocket Card which I have done in the past but and love to do.
I wanted to use my new big flower. I stamped it in Basic Gray on Water color paper then water colored, well the gray bled. I used gray, cameo coral and blush blossom wc crayons then applied stickles. The double pocked was made with blush blossom cs layered with cameo coral after using the birds & swirls cuttlebug folder. The tags that can be used as bookmarkers were stamped with cameo coral. I may file this in FILE 13 and start over.

I think it looks nice, Neva, I kind of like the softer look that the fuzzy gray ink gives to the flower. I sometimes stamp an image with ink I *know* isn't waterproof so that it will do that--the card I did for last week's sketch challenge was like that. Also I think that it takes ink longer to dry on the watercolor paper...maybe that's what makes it better for watercoloring on, you have time to blend the colors before they get absorbed by the paper. Nice job on this card, frustrations aside , and I'll see you at tomorrow's challenge!

Please! Don't file it in #13! I'd love to receive this card and so would anyone else on your list! It's beautiful and the big bloom is very elegant here!
