Somehow though, I am not quite happy with mine. I think I am having a stampers funk!! Oh dear and it's coming out in my dreary looking card!! I usually use a lot of colours - but what happened here???
Oh well -
used crystal effects on the teapot and and the cup. coloured the teapot and teacup with garnet twinkling H20's - the rest gamsol magic
The bit of bling that I added to the corners cheered me up a little. Actually - my dad passed away of cancer April 11 last year. I'm afraid my bit of a funk has transferred over to my card!!
Maybe if I make a colourful card like I usually do - my funk will disappear... I'll try!
Thanks for looking!

I wouldn't call it dreary at all - it stood out enough for me to click through from the thumbnail. The shiny red teapot reminds me a bit of one I used to have. I know how uncreative I was for ages after my mum died - and anniversaries aren't easy, especially the first one.
Hugs...

Deborah, this is just adorable. I'm so sorry you're in a funk over your dad - sometimes love just hurts! But, your card is just adorable. Happy thoughts and a cyber hug to you!

Deborah, I couldnt disagree with you more: I absolutely love your card, especially the red teapot. As soon as I saw this card, I was immediately reminded of seeing my son as a small child doing this exact thing and looking exactly the same way. This is an awesome card, my friend! Your coloring is magnificent, it really is, Deborah! I absolutely loved looking at the details which are magnificent all by themselves. Fabulous card. Great work here, girlfriend!

Oh, Deborah, I'm so sorry for the loss of your Father last year...I know how anniversaries of this sort stir up emotions and I'm sure that's why you're feeling the way you do. I get this way every year around the anniversary of the passing of my beloved Grandpa--my heart is with you, girlfriend. ((((BIG hug just for you)))) However, I don't think it shows in your wrok, this card is lovely! I love your pomegranate teaset and how you created the shine on it, it's really fantastic! The little bling gemstones in the corners brighten it up too and I love the blk/wht gingham ribbon And I must say hank you for always being such an amazing supporter and commenter on my cards. You really lift me up with your heartfelt words and I am thankful to know you, even if only online thru SCS! It's a true blessing and my heart is happy! Have a beautiful and blessed day!!!

Girl, this card is adorable... I like it just the way it is.. they don't always have to be super colorful w/ tons of bling and stuff to be adorable. TFS

Deborah this is awesome and such a sweet setting, the bear having tea. I am sure that you are doing the same, sitting back and remembering all the wonderful moments you have had with your Father as you drink your tea. Remember the Lord is with you as your go through this journey as well as your support and loving SCS family. A Great Big ((((HUG))))) for you!!!! Take care,
IHL
