Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Stacked Ribbon!
Okay, so I stack ribbon... a LOT! LOL! So, I decided to add an additional challenge to this one...Use a SAME colored mat on on another layer....I know, it sounds so confusing, but a friend of mine does it ALL the time, and I WANTED TO TRY IT!!! (It's the two Very Vanilla layers, in case you didn't notice.)
Elletha the Elephant was stamped 3 times and layered using the paper tole technique. She was stamped on Real Red, Very Vanilla and Dashing designer paper (retired-insert audible sob here!!!). The different layers were cut out and adhered with dimensionals. I added Signo pen dots to the ear, and stripes to the trunk and feet. I outlined the dp with markers!
The ribbons came from the Offray Outlet in Hagerstown, MD.
The center of the sentiment is a Build a Brad.
The circles were cut with the Coluzzle. The large Scallop is a Marvey punch.

The vanilla on vanilla sperated by the ribbon is a cool idea--thanks for the inspiration--every time I look at one of your cards I am inspired!! Great job on the challenge.

I immediately thought of you when I read this challenge. I was waiting to see what you came up with. Another masterpiece! I love the colors you put together, very different and they work fabulously. The same color layer is a neat idea, have to remember that one.

She's beautiful! Love how you paper-toled her ... the ear is so cute! Love the ribbon too and the way you used the same colours in the layers ... gorgeous my dear!

Faith, beautiful card. I like the very vanilla on very vanilla. I'll have to try this sometime. I hope that Markie has a fun field trip and that the rest of your day heads in the right direction.
