This a card I've made for my brother in law of some 23 years. He is an Inspector with a large police force, but I love to kid him that he just eats doughnuts.. Thus I chose this House Mouse Image of a mouse eating his way through a doughnut.
I landed up colouring the icing pink because I thought chocolate wouldn't show up well, and green or blue icing seemed to gross. So - pink it was, and then I thought - why not add some fancy sprinkles??
So I put crystal effects all over the * icing * and dumped microbead on top for the sprinkles.
Fortunately my BIL is man enough for this fun card -and has a great sense of humour.
Thanks for looking!

Oh Deborah this is just too cute and funny, Everytime we are riding and a police or sheriff car zooms by us with lights we both think and say the same thing (waffle house has a fresh pot of coffee on or somebody brought some donuts) so this is just too funny. Can't wait to show it to dh. Great idea with the stickles and sprinkles.

Deb, another supercutie card in the same day! What pleasures!
Your coloring on the donut icing is phenomenal! That's not to take away from your excellent coloring overall. I love the "Top Cop" sentiment...that's all they do here in Havre de Grace, MD! And to look at them, it shows!

this is wonderful Deborah! I love the image and what you did with it is magical! And you balanced the pink icing with your bold and striking black and white, fabulous. And what puts me over the top with this are tose sprinkles, just perfect. Great work my friend!!
Hey this is amazing!! I love the sprinkles on the donut, fabulous!! It looks so delicious!! Let me tell you my story: Our lease ran out on our truck and we had to get a new one, well we got something much smaller, it's a crossover vehicle the new Jeep Compass. Well the gas light came on and I was used to my truck and I hate to go get gas, so I procrastinated and ran out on a major highway. The people drive like nuts and within minutes I started to fear for my life!! This nice cop stopped and he stayed with his car behind mine until my mom could bring me gas. Then he put it in the car, which didn't seem like it was too easy because of the spout and the way the gas tank is set up! Anyway it was so nice of him and I wanted to send something to thank him and now I know what!! Or maybe he would get offended, but he did head right for Dunkin Donuts when he left me!! I wanted to send him a gift card for DD, but my mom says that is considered bribery!! Anywho I am rambling, but couldn't help myself!!
