Created for challenge WT154 - to make a window card. For this one I punched a window with a cuttlebug scalloped flower die - then found a stamp that would fit inside the punch - in case case it says "Congrats" . The flowers echo the punched shape with layers of colored cardstock, printed paper and black buttons. I love the way white ink looks on black paper... just like a chalkboard. It also reminds me of Captain Kangaroo and "The Land of Simon"... any of you remember that?? As I was making this I kept humming in my head... "Well you know my name is Simon... and the things I draw come true....."
The paper I used is my brand new Papertrey cardstock that just arrived today. It's fantastic!!! Nice and heavy, and the colors are gorgeous! I also used the little 6x6 paper for the flower centers and the twill tape for the bow. It is all really, really great stuff!
Thanks for looking! Check out my blog for more of my work.
