This is probably the funkiest looking card I've ever made, LOL! I've had this Basic Grey Gypsy 6" x 6" paper pad for almost a year and barely touched it, and this particular print was calling out to me. When I started matching cardstock to it, I thought, "This is going to be one weird looking card!" But I'm pleased with how it turned out.
The closure is meant to mimic the string closure often seen on office envelopes. The linen thread is attached to the "Enjoy Your Day" medallion and winds around the punchie flower on the right side of the card. Both of those pieces are raised with dimensionals. I crumpled the 1/2" Pumpkin Pie circle to distress it a bit, but it's hard to tell in the photo. I wish the holes in the alphabet beads were oriented differently so they wouldn't look "sideways."
It didn't really help matters that while I was making this card, I kept thinking of the "Friends" episode where Rachel "gets closure" over Ross. In my head I was hearing Ross say, "Over me? When were you under me?" LOL
Jimmi, thank you for the fun and interesting challenge!

It's beautiful! I love the DP, but really love the punches you've used for this and the cute alpha beads. Hmmm... I may have to try this. Thanks for the idea!

LOVE THIS CARD!! Colors are fabulous and what a great idea to make the closure with the little "hi" beads for the sentiment. Very clever and original!!
