This is my first ever sketch challenge and I just couldn't resist Mary Jo Albrights sketch from her blog. Visit her blog here for details about the sketch:
I chose to use my brand new set Embrace Life from the new Spring/Summer 2008 Collection. I also could not resist this yummy paper by Cosmo Cricket (from Gretel Collection called Autumn) that I just bought. It goes perfect with our chocolate chip and sage shadow (though you have to "age the sage shadow with creamy caramel to match it better). It's hard to see in the photo, but I stamped a watermark behind the sentiment in sage shadow. That image is from last years Sale-A-Bration, Best Blossoms, as is the sentiment. I also used Canvas on the middle accent piece, then sponges over that with Creamy Caramel. The flower from Embrace Life has an antique brad I picked up from Archiver's $1.99 spot and both the flower and "thank you" are embossed in Chocolate Chip craft/clear E.P. There are cinnamon stickles on the little dots on the inside of the flower as well. Except for the DP, all of the SU solid CS is sponged with Creamy Caramel. Thanks so much for looking and HAPPY NEW YEAR and best wishes for a STAMPENDOUS 2008!

Thank you all so much for your generous comments and for helping making my first sketch a fun and exiciting experience. I was always so nervous to post my work as I felt it was not original enough. I am learning and so far it's easy to accomplish this New Year's resolution!
What an awesome community we have at our fingertips. Take care!
