I got my Time Well Spent today and just had to play with it. I made this card for the Ways to Use it Challenge, but ending up using the Sketch Challenge as well, though that was not my intention when I started. I used pieces that I had left over from my Pallet of Prints. I stamped the large flower onto the DSP to create a cute printed flower design. I did go out shopping today for some unique brads, but ended up making faux ones instead. (Though my trip to the craft store did net me a new Cuttlebug machine, since it was on sale. ) I made my brad out the designer paper and used my 1/4" punch to create circles that I back with several layers of punched cardstock. Finally there is crystal effects on the edges and center of the flower (which is also a large faux brad) and I added glitter, which probably has not scanned well. To provide contrast on the celery layer, I used a makeup wed to sponge the edges of CC cardstock a little darker, using Certainly Celery ink. Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think.
