Well, you guys, I'm surprised I'm even putting this in the gallery - but here goes... I looked at the IC challenge thumbnail - and I saw a retro piece with retro flowers and patterns as well as a sentiment about a friend. The IC piece is definitely mainly blue - but it had some light brown in it too ( along with a few other colours ). Well, I was struck by the retro feel - and hence my kooky retro Tea or Coffee stamp set. The ink I used to stamp it with as well as the dp the are actually a dark brown - not black - though it's hard to see that. I stuck in some blue with the brown , and a kind of abstract retro paper . Well, at least I had fun with the kooky stamp set!!!
Thanks for looking!

Love it! I especially like how your shared your interpretation based on the *feel*...we all see things differently, and this is wonderful! Glad you decided to share it, not every interpretation needs to be literal!

Okay, so I'm learning alot today. One can be inspired by alot more than just color and shapes!!! Your card is very sweet - any good friend would love to have this gem! Perfect swirly BG for the retro gals!!! Reminds me of those bobby pin spit curls! Oh my, I think I just dated myself!!! Thanks for the chance to step back into time!
