Yesterday I taught my first class at my local craft store! We made two Thomas Kinkade cards. This is the first one we did, a monochromatic card which is a simplified version/CASE of this gorgeous card by StamperSharon: Toile Christmas by StamperSharon at Splitcoaststampers Thank you so much, Sharon, for such a lovely example of how beautiful the Kinkade stamps can be when stamped in one color. The Kinkade stamps are available at Cornish Heritage Farms: http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/index.php/cPath/368
My only addition was doing some shading with the Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy ink (which is what the image is stamped with) and a blender pen. The focal panel is up on 1/8 inch mounting tape, and the deep red organdy ribbon has a very elegant, thin gold edging. Of course, some glitter was added to the rooftops and bushes using the Sakura Quickie Glue pen. The background layer is stamped with Adirondack Earthtones Cranberry.

Not only a gorgeous main image (which I have!), but a beautiful background, too. Wonderful use of this stamp and your class must have been very wowed by what they had created so simply with your help. The Pearlescent Poppy ink must be something IRL. Love the Bazzil paper.

Beautiful card!! BUT I was in the first class!! The Guinea Pig class, where we allowed Linda to practice on us while we made both of these beautiful cards and Linda made it easy. I've now got two of my Christmas cards made!!
