This is for SC146. I just love this little cowboy by Lizzie Anne Designs www.lizzieannedesigns.com. I can whole heartedly blame Jeanne S on this purchase (and so many more)because of her adorable work with it.
I sketched a saloon door around the cowboy, painted the images with reinkers and a watercolor brush and cut it out to pop up in front of another piece for the floor and sky. I distressed the paper with my paper tool and used Ranger Vintage Distress ink with a sponge to add age. I added hinges to the swinging saloon doors with a black glaze pen and added black brads to match. I usually don't use so many layers and it was fun to make myself go for it.
