Today's second color challenge included the colors listed here, with the option of making it a birthday greeting for Beate. What better chance to try one of her techniques that I have been wanting to do? Problem was finding the right image - I think this one did work. Briefly, emboss the image,then use a bit of bleach on a brush or water pen -I used somefull strength and some watered down to get different shades on the wings.
There is a narrow layer of artichoke cs under the image. The dark layer under the whole card is black - added for a bit of "pop".

Very pretty! I love the different shades of pink you got from that pretty dragonfly, and I would not have thought to fold the cb piece over had I not seen you do it. I love the cards in your gallery! Keep up the great work, so you can keep us inspired *wink* Kelly
