I just had to have the "Trees" backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms, and this is my first time using it.
Trees were stamped in Basic Brown on glossy card. After it was dry, I rubbed white crayon on the trunks and some of major branches of the trees. I then put drops of reinkers on a cottonball soaked in rubbing alcohol, and dabbed and smeared the blue inks over the card. After it was dry, I buffed the crayoned areas with a tissue, and the brown ink in the areas of 'resist' stood out, because they were covered by the crayon and the color was not diluled by the alcohol and blue inks. The result is subtle, but the trees are now more than one color of brown.
