I had to find a way to store my misc. ribbon that wasn't on spools. I saw this idea on display at Michael's. The jars are $1.49 there, and the doll pins are $2.99 for 30 pins. I have 8 jars and 90 pins...and I need a few more bags ;) I like ribbon!!
I still plan on making cute little color tags for the top of the jars, but I just haven't had the time.

Awesome idea. I have all these little 3 oz jars from baby formula that I have been saving, and now I know what to do with them. Thanks for the great idea.

These are great! The really cool thing about using jar:
You can put a simple shelf on the wall, and then screw the lids to the bottom of it. Then you can screw the jars in. They will up off your workspace, and then you still have the top of the shelf to store some other stuff. I have seen this done in kitchens for pasta and beans.
