I modified the instructions for the criss cross pocket card to make a double pocket card.
It seemed such a waste of cs to have the back be a double layer and nothing else, so I cut the inside back down about 1 1/4 inches to make it shorter than the outer back layer. This gave me two pockets to work with. Clear as mud?!
I made the insert for the second pocket smaller than the first for variety, but they could both be the same size if you wanted.
I also modified the original instructions to use two different colors of cs to make the pocket, instead of using both halves of the same piece of cs.

I LOVE the double pocket. I, too, thought the double layer in the back was a waste, but didn't come up with a solution...guess that is why I love Splitcoast...someone else always comes up with better ideas. Thanks!

What a beautiful card! I love this option of the double pockets. For those looking for the original instructions - see forums - try a new technique - TLC 104 Criss Cross Applesauce cards. Lots of wonderful samples posted. Technique challenge started yesterday.

I love love love how you put this together. The colors are absolutely beautiful, and I like how the two inserts put together look like a single flower grouping. Gorgeous!
