This would be called Reverse Resist Glass Etching, as you get your stamped image etched instead of the surrounding glass etched.
Here are the directions:
-Ink the bottom of the plate with VersaMark.
-Cover with embossing powder.
-Ink your image that you want etched in VersaMark.
-Stamp your image into embossing powder, removing powder.
-Clean stamp and repeat steps 3 & 4. (doing this more than once will remove more embossing powder, producing a less speckled image.)
-Heat image with heat tool, melting the powder.
-using a cotton swab, dab etching cream onto the exposed glass that you want etched.
-Let set for 5-6 minutes.
-Wash off etching cream, making sure that it doesn't touch the part of the glass that is not embossed, or you will get specks on your project.
-Scrpe of the melted powder and your finished!
