This is another entry for the LSC89 to use browns for a holiday card. I stamped the pine needles with Artichoke and lightly brushed the needles with reinker to give them more difinition. Then I stamped the pine cones in brown, filled them in with a brush and reinker and then stamped over again with chocolate chip craft ink and embossed with clear ep. This is a very simple card but I love the elegant look. It reminds me of the cards my mother used to send when I was little. I am 55 so that tells you how long ago that was.

Outstanding card! The pinecones look as though they are 3D and life-like...

This card is beautiful! Those pinecones look almost real! Love the clip and ribbons in the bottom corner, too! Thanks sooo much for explaining how you created this gorgeous card!

This is so beautiful Kittie, the ribbon in the bottom is the perfect touch. I like the embossing on the layered chocolate chip card stock as well. I agree, it has a wonderful vintage feel to it.

Oh my gosh. I just caught this in the favorites thread. I missed it. Your pine cones look so totally real! I can hear the pine needles crunching and snapping under my feet!
