This is a 30 minute card and the dragonfly took 10 minutes of that time to create. I used 24 gauge wires.
The image is heat embossed and colored with aqua painter and pad ink. The edges of the script panel are sponged and a little is also done on the crimped panel. The dragonfly is held on with Memory Dots.
I found it easy to make the dragonfly if I had an image under it and in this case I used the image side of a rubber stamp. The round pillars helped form the tail but the remainder is done with fingers only. IÂ’ll mail this with an extra piece of thin cardstock between the card front and envelope to protect the embellishment.
Card dimension are: 4 ¼” by 5 ½”
Red panel without border: 4 3/8” by 3 5/8”
Beige crimped without border: 4 ¼” by 2 ¾”
Image panel without borders: 1 5/8” by 1 7/8”

I could swear I commented on this card already because I loved it when it was posted during VSN! Anyway, this is gorgeous - that Nature's Wonders image is one of my all-time favorites. Love the black layers, and this layout is fantastic! Great choice for the sketch challenge. Thanks for the details on the measurements. TFS. Linda
