I am demoing the plaidmaker this week and the hostess requested Halloween ideas. I always try to show an out of the box idea with a set, and this is it.
What do you think? Too loud or busy? Should I use black ribbon instead?
BTW, this is CASEd from a card by grafixchick.

It is verrrrry cool! Change it to orange and purple if she is dead set on Halloween or orange purple and green galore. The pink and black are totally wonderful and now I may have to buy the set.

I think this is great! I love to see such a different look for this set! If I were you, I'd just have a sample on hand with this set made with the "traditional" colors so everyone at the workshop is just as WOWED! as we are.
If you think it is "too busy" then you could always widen the paper that the cat is stamped on. Or maybe hang a small pink tag (either one from a sheet of party favor boxes or tags or one you made with your Coluzzle) from the knot of the ribbon. It would help balance some of the busy-ness of the plaid. You could stamp "friends" and then explain how easy it would be to make this card fit for any occassion!
Anyway, I love it just how it is, too! Thanks for sharing.

This is great, and I like that it can be used as a non-halloween card!

OH so eye-catching card! This is awesome! I agree with webseitler; I'd do one card up in orange and black, too, just so they can see the Halloween version. But this is SOOOO Hello Kitty & SOOOOOOOOO adorable! Awesome job!
