I have to admit that when I saw Karen's colors for this week I was a bit concerned: Cherry Cobbler, Poppy Parade and Lemon Lime Twist. Cherry Cobbler???? They weren't really speaking to my Spring oriented mind. I was thinking I should actually use cherries but decided to just try the colors with these roses first. Seriously I had 3 cards well on their way in just over an hour. Now I love these colors!
I used two layers of Poppy Parade on the roses before adding Cherry Cobbler for my third layer. The leaves just got two layers of Lemon Lime Twist. So. Easy.
Dessert this week is plaid. The way I look at it, gingham is just a specific type of plaid. Right?
Thank you so much for taking a peek. I'm looking forward to seeing what you try with these!

Chris, I love what you did here and now I want those stamps too. What a delightful card. The plaid was a great choice. Hugz

Your roses and card are beautiful. Plus, that color combo looks awesome.

I've come back to look at this gorgeous card several times since it was posted. You have highlighted the challenge colours in the most beautiful way. The floral image is lovely and your background plaid and twine complement it perfectly. What a superb card!
