OK, so you know how you sometimes have address labels which are no longer correct? But they're too pretty to throw away? No? Just me, the Ultimate Craft Hoarder? LOL!
Anyway, I scavenged these outdated address labels from my dad, and cut off the address part. Then I added the images to some scalloped squares that a crafting friend sent me, and arranged them on a piece of white cardstock. After sticking them down, I tried out some different borders. My first instinct was to go with yellow, to make the card feel sunny, but that was a bit too much. So, in the end, I went with a light green, to suggest all the new Spring foliage.

Oh, I like this! It's like those samplers in frames (and I'd better change my winter one out before it's time to ship straight to summer!). That's quite the collection of address labels - some great Spring florals along with the birds.
I love this quilt-like pattern of spring images. What a clever girl you are to recycle those out of date address labels into a beautiful card!! Love this!!
