Visiting the beautiful Gallery of our Featured Stamper Polly, aka pblibby, I fell in love with this card: So Sorry Card by pblibby at Splitcoaststampers which I initially CASEd with a different format because I didn't like the bg text stamps I had. But I realized my smaller text stamp could work with repetitive stamping, so I made these.
For both cards, I kept Polly's layout; text bg layer; embossed layer; thread embellishments and sequins. I changed her twine to thread and its placement; I changed the focal point to flowers and I changed the colors and occasion to birthdays.
I wanted to make this card for my aunt who is turning 94 in March. I initially made the magnolia card but decided the colors were too subtle for my aunt's failing eyesight. So I made the second card with a brighter, bigger bloom. In both cases, I did direct-to-paper to make the colored layers framing these cards. Personally, I prefer the softer colors of the magnolia, but I know my aunt will be happier with the brighter ones.
Congrats again Polly on being selected Featured Stamper. I hope you have enjoyed the cards you inspired. And, I hope everyone's day is filled with colors -- soft or bold -- that pleases your eyes and your hearts. TFL.

Both stunning! The embossing, the gorgeous die-cut flowers, and the amazing design are all perfect my friend. Even your photos are superb...
