Mac's friend, Vera, is 103 and she could use a bit of cheer. That's the Tea Potter's specialty so we are throwing her a Tea Party featuring Gold. And, at 103, I think she deserves the Royal Treatment so I pulled out the purple inks as well.
The card is straightforward. AI bg using COPIC reinkers. Embossed the floral stamp onto velum in gold. Added the sentiment and die cut butterflies. Done.
I can't get a pic that shows the true colors of my cards (although this one is pretty close); but, man can my camera magnify every little imperfection on my cards. Yep, the velum did bubble a bit and there's no save for this one. I tried to rub and burnish and rub and burnish, it just wouldn't unbubble. Luckily, it doesn't show up nearly as much IRL. But still -- UGH!
I know Vera's home will be transformed into a sea of beauty and joy with all your beautiful cards and I hope each time she views these cards that's what she feels. And, I hope you all are feeling "bubbly" today, but in a good way. TFL

I find adhering vellum is tricky (at best!) and for as large a piece as you attached, I'd say BRAVO! And that bg - well just WOW my friend! I would happily have dresses, sweaters and shirts made out of that!!!

I think your eyes are magnifying faults that the rest of us can't see ;-). I've looked and looked, and I'm not even sure that what I see is the bubbles you mention. What do you use to adhere such a large piece of vellum? Your AI background is beautiful, and I'm a big fan of stamping sentiments in coordinating colours even though I hardly ever do it myself.

oh my - phenomenal card. That purple really pops out... it is gorgeous. Fabulous card, and since I can barely keep my eyes off it, I'm sure it'll be the same for Vera. Thank you

Oh, Debbie, this will dazzle Vera, for sure! AI backgrounds are just wonderful and yours in the purples really is royal! Boy, do I know what you mean about cameras magnifying every little imperfection!! That often happens to me with my cards. As you say, these imperfections aren't visible IRL until that nasty camera comes into play!
