This week's Features Stamper, Annette aka fauxme, brings us delightful inspiration of the Stampin' Up variety. I knew this was the one for me as soon as I spotted it and after considering a few others, it was for sure. The stripes in her panel reminded me of this SU paper pack so that was the deciding factor. Like many of you, I too love the combo of purple and green. So, I kept Annette's color scheme, a similar layout, the stripes on one panel and a floral center piece. I used a single flower instead of a bouqet; changed the stripes; different frame behind the flower; made this a birthday card and added the embossed bg and rhinestone embellishments.
I die cut and ink blended the flower using a card I had seen on Pinterest as a guide for the colors and shading. Unfortunately, the cardmaker wasn't named so I can't give them credit here. But it was my inspiration for how to combine Annette's two shades of purple into my single flower.
Congratulations Annette on being selected Featured Stamper this week. Your Gallery is filled with beauty and charm and I hope you see that reflected back to you in the cards made in your honor this week. I hope everyone's week is filled with beauty and charm too. TFL

Debbie, this is a great case of Annette's inspiration card. I adore the beautiful purple and blue die cut flower. It looks so beautiful against the decorative white layer. Gorgeous!

That flower is to die for!!! What a glorious focal point. I love the use of white as the background, along with the texture of the ef. A lovely, lovely card.
