For my card, I die cut the stitched layer and used a floss that is multicolored with what appears to have about 8 different colors in it.
Once the base was stitched I layered it on a blue card stock to pick up the bit of blue in the floss and then stamped the sentiment in green. The card was finished with some coordinating flowers and Nuvo Drops.

Oh wow, that is beautiful. Gorgeous colours in the floss. At first I thought you'd also done French knots till I realised it was the Nuvo drops. Those dies remind me of learning to embroider when I was little.
