I created this card to celebrate my wife's promotion to Colonel, which I am incredibly humbled and grateful for being this week's Teapot Tuesday. I don't know a proper enough thank you since I know how much this will mean to her when the cards start surprising her.
As a senior leader and soldier, she consistently demonstrates selflessness and impressive dedication to the Army's well-being but even more so, the soldiers who she works for. She's also a pretty good wife.
Our marriage has always been intertwined with our service to the Army, and I wanted to reflect that in the card. I used my Cricut to cut out wedding rings, which I layered over the patriotic paper and then on top of another military-themed paper. Gluing all of the slender pieces of the ring together took some effort.
I am really happy with how the card turned out and I'm sure it will be good for something baked this weekend.
Thanks for looking. Thanks for your support.

What an awesome card! So creative, love the two intertwined rings standing out against the patriotic paper. Great tactical background paper, too! I hoped you get your baked treat this weekend! :-)
