My wife's reaction to this card, when I showed her, was rather underwhelming - she simply said "meh." But I'm not letting it get to me. I still like the card and my frail card-making confidence remains intact.
I used a lovely palm beach stamp on a blended background made with stampin up inks. To add some depth and interest, I cut out the center with a diecut and propped it up with 3D foam. I'm not great at stamping sentiments, highlighted by the simple messy one added to the card.
To cover up smudges and tears, I added some Nuvo/Pearl drops. Nuvo drops have become my new glitter; you simply can not use too much.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful summer day.

Well,I like it. It says summer, holidays and sunshine to me. I always think that popped-up effect looks great. And we all know about disguising unwanted smudges etc, you are not alone there.
