This is my inspiration: https://www.lumas.com/pictures/beatrice_hug/azur/ (notice the yo-yo).
This is also for the second to last ABC18 challenge-Y is for yo-yo. Because of who I am, I had to look up yo-yo to see if there was anything to learn and boy, was it interesting. I actually found the picture of the 1791 lady on the Wikipedia site.
Yo-yos are toys that have been around since 500 BCE. In the 17th century it was called a bandalore. The word yo-yo is of Filipino origin. Pedro Flores, a Filipino immigrant opened the Yo-Yo Manufacturing Co. in California in 1928. In 1929, Donald Duncan purchased Flores' company. In 1946, the Duncan Company opened a yo-yo factory in Luck, Wisconsin. Ha, how about that!? I love learning stuff that no one else cares about. Thanks for the challenges!
