I first made a pile of poinsettia die cuts in pink and white. I then used brushes and inks to add color to the die cuts, including the stenciled portions of the die cuts. Repeated the same for the green leaves. Cut the sprigs from foiled cs. I used a bone folder to curl each petal of each layer. Shined them up with a glitter brush similar to Wink of Stella, but used Scrapbook dot com brand. I used liquid adhesive to adhere the layers together to create the poinsettias. I set those aside to dry while I did the dishes (ha!) taking time to think about what to mount them onto. I decided to use the pine embossing folder to create my background. To make the background pop, I applied Versamark and CPI Garden Party to the embossing folder, blotted it a bit with a baby wipe to give a more washed look, dry embossed the white cardstock, then heat embossed with Holographic embossing powder (Ranger brand). I layered it to a white A-2 sized card base, played with the arrangement of the poinsettias and sprigs, and wet glued everything together. The gold center gems are old old product from my stash, brand unknown to me.
This card is really shiny, glittery in real life, and difficult to capture by photo how truly beautiful it is!
