This week we are sending paper hugs to a 5 year old superhero, Dominic, who is battling neublastoma. I am woefully lacking super hero and hockey (his fav sport) supplies; but I read in one of his mother's updates that he loves music therapy and playing the instruments. Here's a pic of Dominic at a giant keyboard: https://www.browneyedbaker.com/dominic-update-2-0/
With that in mind, I am sending him a hot trio of monsters. To make this work, more or less, I colored the monsters with super hero colors, fussy cut each image eliminating bits of the stamps (like the package in the monster's hand and the bag of candy one-eye was holding) and fitted them with instruments. The stamps of the instruments were too large for my monsters, so I stamped, scanned them into my computer, resized and then printed, colored and fussy cut. And just to show Dominic they can really rock, Dudley the Dragon is on a wobble. I added a bit more color by stamping random musical notes around the border of the base. The sentiment is computer generated using Cafe Rojo font.
I am always amazed at the grace and strength shown by young kids fighting this dreadful disease. The smile on Dominic's face is precious and angelic. I hope this card, and wobbly Dudley, will bring one of those smiles to his face. I hope your face is graced with a smile today too. TFL

This card is so much fun! Little Dominic does have a lot of interests and music is one of them. It's perfect. Made me smile so I know Dominic will light up when he sees it.
