This is for the Color Challenge hosted by Chris. She selected Soft Sea Foam, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sorbet for the colors with any embossing as the dessert option.
These colors said flowers to me. First I scored horizontal lines across my Basic White panel in one inch increments. Then I did the stamping. In some areas the ink did not get down into the destressed line which is what I wanted. I was going for a look of painting on white wood.
The rose was created with three-step stamping as follows: base in Flirty Flamingo stamped off twice, 2nd step in Flirty Flamingo full ink, 3rd step in Sweet Sorbet. The stem and leaves were stamped in the Soft Seafoam with some detail added with neutral Mossy Meadow. Small flowers in both the red & pink colors were stamping about.
Then I dry embossed the panel with my new Timber EF. The score lines disappeared after the dry embossing, but I just rescored them. The sentiment is heat embossed in white. It was oval punched and layered on a punched scallop oval. Wink of Stella was applied on the Sweet Sorbet ink; it really sparkles.
Beautiful colors! I had fun with them. Hope you will join in with us.

Just wow! Love everything about this card - the colors, layout and flow of the design and especially how you accomplished the look of painting on white wood!
Thanks for including the details on how you did this, looking forward to giving this technique a try.
Also neat to see an old fav SU set used in a fresh way. Into my favs and also bookmarked! TFS
