For the TLC challenge I dissected a envelope that a Christmas card had been mailed into me last year. I saved it because it was such a pretty silver. I used that as a panel under my text layer. This wasn't newsprint, but a cover off a small Christmas song book. I stamped the candle, and colored with Copics, and added the punched doves. I punched them out of scraps left from the envelope I used. I did run into a problem, that being the text panel was glossy, and the ink smeared. EEK!

I love your envelope save...such a pretty silver...and makes for a lovely background for your text overlay. Like, Shirl, I don't see your smudge, but know exactly how that feels. Mine usually happens right at the end when the card should be finished. This is a peaceful and lovely Christmas card!
