I used die cut tulips instead of stamped tulips and sponged the color on, highlighting with colored pencils and dotted with a white gel pen.
I used blue and green rather than purple and green
I made mine less CAS:
I die cut the lacy edge in the panel.
I sponged a card strip in green and blue and layered it onto the card base behind where the lace cut out would be and then layered the tulip panel onto the card with foam dots.
I printed the loss of mother sentiment from my computer and stamped the sympathy sentiment.
Enjoy your week in the FS gallery Gayle! and thank you for the inspiration!

Julia, this is a stunning card. The large tulips so look so beautiful against that gorgeous die cut cover plate. Your shading on the tulips makes them look so realistic.

Sorry you needed this card, but you created a beautiful memento for your friend. Your colors are both beautiful and serene. Perfect on this occasion and I love the simple but bold font you used for the sentiment. The die cuts, embossed stitching and embellishment add the perfect finishing touches. Beautiful card.

Lovely sympathy card. The tulips are so beautiful. The lattice die-cut in the background is very pretty. The clear sequins are a special touch. Fabulous case. So sorry that you need to send a sympathy card. Hugs!
