If you like mixed media and like to do the Friday, MIX, I invite you to check out a newer thread in the challenges (toward the bottom of the list). Jaynie (Ozpom) has started a new thread for MMJ2022 (mixed, messy and joyful or is it messy, mixed and joyful?) and the first challenge for this year is a prompt, where you can choose items from a list, no technique specified. It was fun and it worked well with today's MIX and the F4A.
The items from Jaynie's list that I chose were: blue, book page, staples, holes. She also asked that we stencil something, hence my background. I used this week's WCW challenge (check that out too while you're at it) to paint some circles in the MIX color challenge (summer colors but not a summer card). I thought coffee would do the trick, especially the hot stuff we're drinking now. I'm on my third cup today, last one was decaf. We have warmed up to 14F, we were at 1F earlier. The circle at the top right is cut from the top of a Keurig cup...underneath I punched some holes and threaded some rough burlap stuff. I stamped a coffee bean background on a book page and tore some pieces. I'm quite enamored with this week's WCW, can't stop doing it.
The F4A was to 'send smiles' so I used a smile sentiment from Club Scrap. Thanks, Jeanne, for both of today's challenges and Jaynie for her continued work on MMJ.
