When I was making this card, I thought the "Let your Heart be Light" sentiment was perfect for the world we find ourselves in presently. I think these days I have to make an intentional choice to LET my heart be light, emphasis on the word LET, and I don't think I am alone in feeling this way. There are so many heavy things going on all around us, and we have to CHOOSE to LET our hearts be light. Otherwise, it's all just too heavy. I have to remind myself on a daily that none of our present world issues take God by surprise. So anyway - if anyone else is feeling the weight of the world, let's all try this holiday season to LET our hearts be light. Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Wonderful theme to your card, Karen. You created a lovely scene....and the tree is REALLY decorated with sparkle. One can tell you didn't dash your card off.....but then, none of your cards are "slap and dash".

Such a fun, festive scene you've created. Your gift bearer deserves to be kissed both for the quantity of gifts she is offering and for standing under the mistletoe. Your heart may be heavy but your card is definitely filled with light. And, yes, I think many of us feel that way these days. Thank you for your inspiring and encouraging message. Wonderful card. Hugs.
