So if you look at Ashley's card and my journal page, I know your eyebrows raised! How did I get from Ashley's sweet card you would give to a friend to this spooky wreath?
Story:
*I knew I was going to do a wreath
*I wanted to do Fall or Halloween theme
*I remembered I had gathered up the left over old flowers from my parent's grave when we cleaned it up last time.
*The flowers and leaves were dirty and tattered so I brushed them off and spookified them more with some black distress ink, black paint splatters, and gold paint splatters.
*Had to do an art journal page instead of a card so I could fit all the flowers.
Can you find all the spiders? There are supposed to be 5 but I can only find 4.
This journal is chunky and I plan to just close it up and have the flowers be a fun part of it.

This is beautiful Nancy. I love how you chose to keep the flowers off your parents grave. That’s something that I would do. It’s such a rich page and I like how you added the spiders. TFS. Happy day and lots of hugs

Amazing, spooky wreath. So creative. Love the splatter. I see three spiders, but cannot spot the fourth one. Your work always amazes me. Terrific addition to your journal with special remembrance.

I love how you use personal things to create these beautiful and inspiring journal pages. Your wreaths are always beautiful -- even the spooky ones -- and that this one is imbued with such loving memories makes it so much more. And, I only spotted three spiders so I think two have escaped into your home so watch out! Stunning page, my friend. TFS.

This is totally wonderful to include such special retrieved flowers for your amazing project! My heart is in smiles! I don't live in the same state where my family is buried, but I know pretty much how you were feeling when this all came together. Love it!
