Zola reminded me of this new stamp I just received from Mo's. It is one of her Patreon freebies, so I'm sorry it's not in her store She used her own pup, Daisy, as the model.
Since Daisy is set in the Autumn, I decided to change my color scheme to Fall colors. I smooshed the bg with DOX, die cut the leaves, die cut the slope edge, attached to the green panel and then die cut the frame. To mimic Debbie's striped border, I stamped the green panel with the green DOX and then clear embossed so it would show up better. I really liked the decorative border on Debby's card and initially tried that, but it was too busy for my card so I opted for the simple slope instead. The sentiment was computer generated using Eastwood font.
This card gave me fits today -- things that should stick didn't stick; things that shouldn't (like purple tape that ruins your bg) did; die cutting the leaves for the bg was a complete waste of time as you can barely tell they are leaves even IRL; and my computer ink kept running when I colored with Copics (which rarely happens) even when I took the extra step to heat set it -- so multiple printings and coloring. Ugh. I should have used a bulldog image because that's what I felt like while I was doing this card. LOL. But I am very please with the final result, so it's All's Well That Ends Well here.
Congratulations Debby on being this week's Featured Stamper. I so enjoyed looking through your Gallery at all the fun cards you have created. I hope you enjoy your week in the spotlight. And, I hope everyone has a fun weekend and that your projects end well too. TFL

Such a fun character that doggie is! I am also drooling over the stackers dies! Sorry you went through all that struggle, ask me how I know, but this turned out to be such a fabulous case of Debby's great card. I love your coloring on the dog and your fun sentiment too.

Debbie, this is sooooo sweet. Lovely image and great sketch and papers. I have days where nothing works like it is supposed to a lot - yesterday was one of them. A lovely case of her card. Sweet post too. Hugz

Debbie, I'm sorry this card gave you such a hard time! Sometimes that happens to me, too! I just totally love everything about your card .... your coloring of that adorable pup is just wonderful and all the textures and elements you've added make this a super card!
