I belong to several art groups on Facebook and this idea was inspired by a post about a video for painting a sunflower, easy enough for children. Well, I'm a child when it comes to watercolor so I searched for it. Very easy and quite fun. My panel underneath is recently done, I think with Distress inks...I think I was just mopping up inks on the table. It looks rather pink in the photo but is definitely deep yellows, golds, and dark red. Pretty sunny today! The two strips are from a Brusho experiment.
This is for Sonja's sketch challenge (I'll be along eventually with the fold) and Sunday's FS, honoring Pat (casep). Her gallery is very much fun to look through and CASE because she has so much variety. This is what inspired me: MIX429 Diamond Background by casep at Splitcoaststampers
I hope most of your days are sunny-side up, even when it's raining.

Love ALL your colors, your fun sunflower, and the encouraging words. This is a VERY cool card, Jean. I try to do every day sunny side up but some days are harder than others. Great case and card! Hugz
