This card is being sent to our Teapot recipient this week, Linda Littlepage aka Hotwheels. We are remembering our moms and sending her encouragement to her as it is near the anniversary of the loss of her mom. I am remembering my mother as she loved flowers and she had a green thumb for sure. Anything would grow for her! Even after they moved to a lake home, she planted flowers on a steep hill , and places you wouldn't think they would grow, but they did for her! I miss my mom, too, Linda. She died of a horrible disease, ALS. I praise God though that she was diagnosed with it at 88 and really only suffered about a year with it. She never complained, and was a witness for our Lord and Savior until the end. OK, I didn't mean to go on and on! Forgive me, please.
This is also for the May Misti challenge for texture and the May Stamp2 Spend challenge for May Flowers.
I don't know what I would do without my Misti! I stamped the flowers and sentiment multiple times with my Misti to get it right. I love this new Lace dynamic EF and it gives lots of texture. I stamped and fussy cut the flowers.
Thanks for looking.
