You may be surprised to know that the first edition of this Classic was published in Life Magazine. It's a story of courage, persistence, and is still one of my favorite books.
I was happy to find a first printing in book form as a gift for our English teacher son, Paul.
This goes to a "tickle" recipient, and I think it works as a Father's Day card.

Your CAS approach to making a Hemingway card is perfect! I can imagine him pondering about his word choice while contemplating whether or not he'll make the marlin bigger

Great card, Anne, I really like it. As this was a book I had to read in school, that probably somewhat spoiled it for me but at least, being an avid reader, I had read it for myself first. What a great find as a gift for Paul.

I really like the way the clouds and waves converge, and how the facial image seems to float over both. Very interesting and intriguing card for this great novel!!

I would love to see this when cloud watching with the grandkids as I loved doing this when a younger me and still do now. Great choice of authors and this fits in just right--neat card
