A big congrats to Denise, the newest Featured Stamper! She has lovely little gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the layout & most of the colors, but used different images & dies & made mine a birthday card instead of Christmas.
Hubs & I used to bowl quite a bit, but I don't think there's a bowling alley around us since we moved. I decided to use a watercolor background I had in my stash because the colors remind me of my bowling ball. Yep..it's a marbled blue color, pretty close to this. Only the bowling ball was stamped onto a piece of the watercolor bg, the rest was stamped on white & fussy cut. I added a black zigzag frame & popped up the pins on top of the w/c bg. I like that the top image definitely looks like a strike & not the dreaded 7-10 split! I've never actually seen a 7-10 split picked up..have you?
Thanks so much for looking. I'll have it on my blog in a bit.

Julie, this is such a great case of Denise's card. This is such a perfect masculine birthday card. I love the blue around the bowling pins and bowling ball.

My sister and brother-in-law used to bowl a lot and my MIL bowled until she was about 95 years old. She loved it! ...and I love your card. That bowling ball is perfect!

Love those colors and the image grouping you stamped and placed on your pretty watercolor background! I'll bet your bowling ball is pretty!
