Wow! Margaretha is turning 102 this month and the Teapotters are sending her paper hugs and birthday wishes. Margaretha loves red and yellow tulips and cats; and, I love Mo's images and found this cutie in her shop.
Well, I made the digital image too large and didn't have room for a sentiment much less a bow. So I tried to sneak it into the title -- do you think Lisa (Shoe Girl) will notice? LOL. And, it needed an interesting background. I noticed Holstein's beautiful card this morning when I was glancing at the gallery. I had not intended to CASE her card, but I loved the look of her embossed background and that gave me the idea to do the same. Here's a link to Holstein's fabulous card:
I created my background by brayering wet DOs onto white paper. Embossed the page and then lightly ran the ink pad over the raised images. Matted and assembled. I think anyone turning 102 should have a little bling as well, so I popped on a few rhinestones for good measure.
It's sad that in this time of COVID families and friends cannot meet up to celebrate. But, I hope Margaretha feels a flood of love from the birthday wishes coming from this fabulous SCS group. Have a great day and TFL.

That is such an adorable kitty and beautiful image. Your explanation of the title made me grin, because that's always the problem any time I get tulips as cut flowers, they bow (too much). Amazing shading on the beautiful jar (I'd love one like that!), and the background is gorgeous.

I've been so upset lately about the time that people are missing with their loved ones this year. I really hope this tea party makes Margaretha feel loved. Anyway, take a bow---your card is just fabulous! I love the sweet image you chose and your fabulous coloring of it.
