Wonderful inspiration site! For some reason, I was particularly drawn to several that all had navy & white color combos. I finally settled on THIS picture.
For the bg, instead of the usual coloring in of the leaves, I only filled in the bg areas using a very dk navy Copic. I used a lt grey to add a little something extra in a few spots. The large leaf was fussy cut, popped up & added to a circle stitch frame w/ a piece of vellum behind it.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & all the product links: The Write Stuff

Cool idea and techniqe. Totally Fav'd. It's so refreshing to see non traditional leaf colors. Your circle reminds me of a little dish and you are serving up the tastiest morsel.

Love it!! The bg is perfect!! Love all the leaves, and it's so crisp in the navy/white combo, mf!

Great card, Julie! I like the blue and white for the leaves--something I don't think I would have thought of! I like the large leaf with the double stitched circle frame, too!
