WOW! 800 Color Challenges - that's 15 years!! I decided to combine the challenges today & this will go to Anita's Mom for her birthday teaparty. I will take it to the PO today.
OK ... for the CC I looked to see if there was one I didn't do - yep.
So I picked Chris' (inkpad) CC761. Since Anita's mom likes fashion, I thought this set was just right. First I clear embossed the image, then colored with Lt Balmy Blue Stampin'blends. I used a little Pool Party for the puddle she is stepping in. I sponged on Night of Navy for the background - I was pretty light handed. Then I die cut the layers. Twice I tried to make the card base the largest die cut, but it didn't work either time, so I just rounded the mathcing corners. I die cut another piece of Seaside Spray for the inside & used Night of Navy for the HBD sentiment. I also wrote a note & wrote HBD in Dutch.
Fun card to do.
Thanks for stopping by.

Karen, I loved this the minute I saw it in the gallery, and after reading Snietje's comment, Annie is going to love it too. Your design is great and I love how you rounded the base corners.

CAKath stole my line: I never tire of seeing this lovely image. And the colors you chose really work so well with that serene feeling you get when you see her. Beautiful card.

Great choice of stamp to use for Anita's mother, and lovely colours and layering. I can imagine that it would be quite hard to use that die to cut a base, with the stitching. But your rounded corners look like a perfect match.

This great CAS treatment really exudes the joy your woman is experiencing in that romp through the rain puddles. Your stitched nesting frames are really neat.
